Rules
Last updated 6 August 2026.
Short version: post your own work, credit the people who drew for you, mark adult content, and leave others alone. The rest of this page is what those mean in practice and what happens when somebody breaks them.
What you can report
These are the reasons on the report form, and what each one is for.
Stolen design
A character posted by someone who did not create it and does not own it. Being inspired by another design is not theft; passing off someone else's character as your own is.
Generated art
Images made by a model and presented as drawn work. Hollowden exists for people who draw, and this is the rule the site was built around.
Harassment
Targeting a person: insults, threats, following someone across the site to bother them, or organising others to do it. Disagreeing with someone is not harassment.
Unmarked adult content
Adult work is allowed and it has to be marked. Marking it is what lets people who do not want to see it avoid it, and what keeps it away from anyone who has not confirmed their age.
Spam
Advertising, scams, mass posting, and accounts made to do any of that.
Adult content
Mark a character as adult and its page asks for a one-time confirmation before showing it. In listings its cover stays veiled until a viewer has turned adult content on for their account.
Nothing involving real minors, or characters presented as minors in a sexual way, is allowed anywhere on the site, marked or not. That one has no discussion attached.
What happens when you report
A report goes into a queue read by people, not by an automatic filter. You can report a character, a comment or an account, and you can edit your report while it is still open.
Depending on what is found, a comment can be hidden, a character can be forced private, or an account can be suspended. A suspended account can still read the site and export everything it owns; it just cannot post, create or trade.
Every moderation action is logged, including who took it. That log exists so decisions can be reviewed rather than trusted.
Who can do what
- Helpers read reports and can hide comments.
- Moderators can additionally force a character private.
- Admins can additionally suspend and reactivate accounts.
- The owner handles the rest, including permanent deletion, and is the only one who can change what anyone else is allowed to do.
If you think a decision is wrong
Say so. One person makes these calls and one person can get them wrong, and an appeal is not an imposition.
A published address to reach moderation is still missing, and it will be here before the site opens. Saying that plainly is better than pointing you at a page that has nothing on it.
